I met Jonathan about 15 years ago when I was a member at the world famous Magic Castle — not a Magician Member, just like a Happy Hour Member. Since then, we have been able to work with Jonathan many times at Elite Adventure Tours.

Jonathan has performed for our clients at private estates, at famous places like The Magic Castle, Greystone Mansion, Malibu Rocky Oaks, The Warner Brothers back-lot, and in some of that largest suites at the most iconic hotels in Southern California.  We’ve even flown him by helicopter to a yacht!

He is a magician’s magician and we go out of our way to work with him whenever we can.

During normal times he performs regularly at The Magic Castle and he has performed on literally every continent in the world, even Antarctica!

Even more impressively, when Hollywood needs a magic consultant so that actors like Steve Carrell in the Incredible Burt Wunderstone nail the scene, Jonathan is who they call.

Since I have known Jonathan he has always managed to stay cutting edge. Watching someone transcend from a skill to an art, or from a hobby to a career is always exciting.

When Covid hit, Jonathan didn’t pivot.  He did a back-flip and got to work! He leveraged his talents as an actor and a producer, and built out a state-of-the-art studio in his home. He can now perform  anywhere in the world for families, friends, happy hours, small business and giant corporations.

Levit is highly respected in all areas of magic, including sleight of hand, mentalism, and magic history, where his work alongside Neil Patrick Harris and his recreation on stage as Howard Thurston has gained him respect amongst his peers.

His acting career began with a starring role as a con-artist magician in one of the most highly acclaimed episodes of “THE X-FILES”, playing opposite Ricky Jay. Levit played the coroner in “FLASHFORWARD”, and continued to work in numerous television shows and films on networks including NBC, USA, CBS and ABC — playing magicians and non-magicians alike.

Jonathan has been the on camera host for various television series on networks including THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL, THE SCIENCE CHANNEL, THE BIOGRAPHY CHANNEL, EQUATOR HD  the FINE LIVING NETWORK. Combining magic and hosting, Jonathan was seen on VH-1 as the host and head judge of the celebrity reality magic series, “CELEBRACADABRA”. His appearance on FOX’s “MASTERS OF ILLUSION” further solidified his standing in the magic and entertainment industries.

He has worked as a magic consultant for some of the biggest Hollywood films and television shows including “NOW YOU SEE ME”, where he taught Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, and Ayla Fisher.
